TAACCT
The six areas of TAACCT are well known as problem areas—what is new is how we go about identifying, reporting, and correcting these performance issues. By taking a deceptively simple approach, BTTB can give answers to questions virtually all companies have. Following TAACCT principles when instituting employee procedures will ensure that, once corrected, problems will remain corrected. This will result in solid useable plans that work in virtually any environment independently of any external forces on your company. In a complex business world, it’s time to get Back To The Basics.
Training: Assessed by quantifiable auditing methods with questions specific to job duties.
Accountability: Assessing personnel’s understanding of the parameters of the position held, and their responsibilities.
Autonomy: Assessing personnel’s ability to make decisions and take actions based on understanding of job parameters and experience without the need for time consuming, and ultimately unnecessary, input from leads, supervisors, and managers. An integral part of this is also knowing when and who to ask for input.
Communication: Assessing personnel’s understanding of company expectations, protocols and goals. Includes common language and command structure understanding. (Goes hand-in-hand with Accountability)
Cross-Training: Assessing the flexibility of personnel based on their ability to be productive in more than one capacity.
Teamwork: Assessing the levels of cooperation in your business environment using quantifiable survey methods.
